Barack Obama Cufflinks
November 9, 2008
In honor of President-Elect Obama, we present several Obama cufflinks.
I was hoping to find a whole bunch of cool cufflinks to celebrate Obama’s election victory and upcoming inauguration. Unfortunately, there aren’t a lot of good options. In fact, the best ones I’ve seen so far were given out by John McCain…

These cufflinks were given out by John McCain one of the debates as some kind of joke according to the
Reuters. McCain staffers gave these to reporters in the press corps apparently mocking Obama’s cult status.I don’t think I get the joke. Obama cufflinks with a presidential seal in an election campaign you’re running behind in. Oh well, these are sure to become a collector’s item, especially as disgruntled Republicans part with them. In fact, there’s already a
pair up on eBay and I couldn’t help bidding myself (fingers crossed).

Next we have the official Barack Obama cufflinks from the
Obama Store. Honestly, for such a well designed campaign, these are a bit blah. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Obama logo, but these could use a little color. These are still available from the Obama Store for $35.

These are actually earrings from
obamajewelry.org. They used to have a pair of cufflinks that were exactly the same. I have to say these are my favorites, if only they were still available!
UPDATE: The Obama cufflinks are available again!

These presidential seal cufflinks are available from
justcufflinks.com for $125. They’re nice and all, but I think that’s a bit pricey.

I figured etsy.com, the bastion of handmade cufflinks would have some great Obama cufflinks.
These were the best I could find though. They’re just a picture of Obama glued to a Scrabble piece for $26.

Another pair of
Obama cufflinks from eBay. These are very similar to the obamajewelry.org ones above, but it’s hard to tell the quality from the picture although the seller had good feedback. They are reasonably priced at $15.99.Well, that the best of the Obama cufflinks I could find out there, please let me know in the comments if you find any more.
If you’re a tried and true Democrat and not just on the Obama bandwagon (I kid, I kid), you might be interested in some of these Democratic party cufflinks from Amazon.com:

[…] fastener allows these cufflinks to fold flat which is great for travel. Given the lack of stylish Obama cufflinks, these would be a great alternative for Inauguration Day. I feel other countries getting jealous, […]
